Mr. Wickett, was born and raised in Vancouver. He is a trial lawyer specializing in commercial and administrative litigation with an emphasis on environmental matters. He also has extensive experience in real estate and leasing litigation and serves as BC real estate litigation counsel for one of Canada’s major food retailers.
Mr. Wickett also acts in employment and human rights tribunal matters and as counsel in the criminal courts for those charged with regulatory and commercial crime offences.
In his environmental law practice he has performed many environmental due diligence and compliance assessments of forestry, mining, fisheries and manufacturing businesses.
Mr. Wickett is also Vice Chair of the Environmental Appeal Board, Vice Chair of the Forest Appeals Commission, and a member of the Oil and Gas Appeal Tribunal of British Columbia. In this capacity he has written numerous judgments on environmental, forestry and First Nations issues.
He has appeared as counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia and before various administrative tribunals.
Mr. Wickett served two terms as managing partner of MacKenzie Fujisawa. His most recent term as managing partner concluded in April 2020.

- Originating author and continuing editor of the waste management chapter of the Due Diligence Desk Book published by CLE
- Author of numerous papers presented at CLE and related organizations on the subject of environmental and administrative law.
