Shane has extensive experience in all areas of commercial arbitration.  His practice is focused on complex commercial disputes, including commercial leasing, construction, and shareholder disputes.

Shane is a partner in the litigation department of Kornfeld LLP where he represents owners, investors and major developers in complex disputes with shareholders, vendors, contractors, builders, strata corporations and other parties. Shane also advises corporations and individuals in shareholder disputes and matters involving securities, contracts and partnerships, insolvency, fiduciary obligations, negligence and fraud.

Shane has received the recognition of his peers as a leader in his field. He has maintained an AV Preeminent rating in Martindale Hubbell for the highest level of professional excellence and high ethical standing since 2017.  He has been named as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation since 2020, and he has been recognized by Best Lawyers for expertise in Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Commercial Leasing Law since 2021.

Shane is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.  He has acted as counsel on numerous commercial arbitration matters involving commercial leasing and other commercial disputes.
