Thomas Legler is a partner and Head of Arbitration in Geneva. His practice focuses on representing clients in international arbitration and acting as arbitrator. In addition, he advises clients in the field of intellectual property (trademarks, patents, copyright), IT and data protection. Swiss Parliament elected him as deputy judge of the Federal Patent Court.

Experience as Counsel in more than 60 ICC, ad hoc or Swiss arbitration cases; disputes involving intellectual property (in particular pharmaceuticals) and IT, construction projects, sales, distributorship and license agreements, manufacturing contracts, joint ventures, ground handling/aviation agreements.

Experience as Arbitrator: in more than 45 ICC, WIPO, DIS, SIAC and Swiss arbitration cases, as chairman, sole arbitrator or co-arbitrator.
