Professional Experience

Mr. Storrow is a senior litigation partner involved in arbitration, mediation, civil and criminal law. His expertise includes general commercial litigation, personal injury, native claims, general commercial litigation, criminal law, environmental law, “White Collar Crime”, anti-dumping and international trade cases

His practice has involved numerous appearances at all levels of the provincial and federal court systems, including numerous appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Storrow was counsel on the leading First Nations cases of Guerin v. Her Majesty the Queen, R. v. Sparrow, Roberts v. The Queen, and R. v. Gladstone at all court levels along with a number of aboriginal rights and other leading Canadian cases including ApsassinDelgamuukwandErmineskin v. Her Majesty the Queen. Three of his cases have been ranked by Canadian legal scholars as among the top 15 most important cases in Canadian legal history.

Mr. Storrow has conducted several trials at all Court levels in the Northwest Territories and in every province of Canada except Prince Edward Island.

Mr. Storrow’s cases appear approximately 500 times in various Canadian legal reports.

Mr. Storrow is recognized annually in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as one of the leading lawyers in Canada.

Mr. Storrow has written and lectured on a number of “White Collar Crime”, “Aboriginal Rights”, “Medicare in Canada” “Child Pornography” and several other matters and acted as defence counsel in one of Canada’s first money laundering cases.

Mr. Storrow has been a frequent lecturer and conference co-ordinator for both the Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C. and the University of British Columbia Law School. Lawrence S. Schaner

Professional Experience

Lawrence S. Schaner is a partner in Jenner & Block’s Chicago office, co-chair of the firm’s International Arbitration practice and a member of its Litigation Department. He represents parties in complex commercial disputes in courts and before arbitral tribunals. He serves as an arbitrator in international and domestic cases, and is an adjunct professor of law at Northwestern University School of Law, where he teaches international arbitration.

In his more than 28 years of practice, Mr. Schaner has amassed broad experience with complex, challenging, high-stakes business disputes spanning many sectors and industries. His experience includes matters relating to contract, commercial, tort, intellectual property, antitrust, securities, bankruptcy, tax, employment and insurance disputes. He has dealt with matters in fields ranging from aerospace and defense, government contracts, and hospitality to telecommunications, construction, manufacturing, technology, and energy. Mr. Schaner is often called upon to provide cross-border legal assistance, such as the enforcement of arbitration awards and obtaining discovery for use in foreign legal proceedings. He also counsels clients regarding the selection of dispute resolution mechanisms, including the drafting of arbitration agreements.

Mr. Schaner has acted on numerous occasions as chair, sole arbitrator and co- arbitrator in international and domestic arbitration cases. He is a member of various panels of arbitrators, including the AAA, CIDRA, CPR, ICDR, HKIAC, KLRCA, PIAC and SIAC. He serves as an arbitrator in cases administered by the ICC, which does not maintain a panel of arbitrators.

Dispute Resolution Experience and Training

Service as counsel and arbitrator in many international and domestic arbitration cases. Recent matters have been under the rules of the AAA, CPR, ICC, ICDR and LCIA. William J. McFetridge

Professional Experience

Bill McFetridge has over 40 years of experience as a professional providing advice to clients in a range of industries. Bills practice is focused on acquisitions and divestitures of large and small businesses, shareholder agreements and disputes, joint ventures and limited partnerships.

Prior to entering the field of law, Bill trained and practised as a Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA), a background that he draws on to deal with a variety of corporate and commercial matters.
